My CV is here.

Nostalgia

I've been working as a software engineer for the last 13 years (how times flies!), mainly here in Cambridge, but also in Melbourne, Denver, San Jose, etc. I currently work for Nokia, although you may have previously known me as:

Eh, them were the days. Kids these days don't know they're born: I accessed my Fido account with an old 1200/75baud modem attached to my trusty Beeb. No more writing ROMs in 6502 assembly language surrounded by a FOR NEXT loop, reading passwords off the school Econet from location &FEA2, or rewinding the tape when a program fails to load. Come back OSWORD and OSCLI, sun.nsfnet-relay.ac.uk, archie and gopher! It's all too easy these days, rewritable DVDs, gigs of memory, sigh.

Nostalgia, it's not what it used to be.
